Winner of numerous awards, including a Michelin star in 2001, Fortaleza do Guincho serves exquisite dishes inspired by the French cuisine.
The restaurant was founded in 1998 along with the hotel with the same name, and has become a country reference with the support of the French Chef Antoine Westermann.
Fortaleza was also a learning space for many Portuguese chefs, which lead to the introduction of more national flavours to the menu.
