À Margem

Located close to the Discoveries Monument in Belém, À Margem is a minimalistic restaurant designed by the architects João Pedro Falcão de Campos e Ricardo Vaz.

À Margem is also one of the best terraces in Lisbon and it’s the ideal place to enjoy a light meal with wine, while you look over the Tagus river.

The Decadente Restaurante & Bar

The Independente Hostel & Suites invites you to visit The Decadente Restaurante & Bar, a space where the food is the main star.

The chef Nuno Bandeira de Lima is the one presenting the renowned menu inspired by the best Portuguese ingredients.

Head over here on a Sunday and you can taste one of the best brunches in town!

Fortaleza do Guincho

Winner of numerous awards, including a Michelin star in 2001, Fortaleza do Guincho serves exquisite dishes inspired by the French cuisine.

The restaurant was founded in 1998 along with the hotel with the same name, and has become a country reference with the support of the French Chef Antoine Westermann.

Fortaleza was also a learning space for many Portuguese chefs, which lead to the introduction of more national flavours to the menu.

Rui dos Pregos (Alcântara Docks)

Come and try a typical Portuguese steak sandwich at Rui dos Pregos!

You can have your “Prego” with bread or on the plate accompanied with fries. Either way, your tastebuds will thank you.

The restaurant is a franchising, so there are several locations around the city where you can try this delicious speciality!

If you want to overlook the river while you’re eating, then your best option is at the Alcântara Docks!
